What we work on

Fund of funds and secondaries interview preparation that is specific to the investor seat.

This is not generic private equity interview coaching. The session focuses on the investment questions, transaction judgement, and LP mindset required in fund of funds and secondary investing interviews.

Investment story & fit

Pressure-test your motivation, career narrative, deal discussion, and the answers that differentiate a credible candidate.

Primary fund investing

Prepare for GP assessment, fund strategy, track-record analysis, portfolio construction, and primary-commitment questions.

Secondaries & continuation vehicles

Work through pricing, alignment, asset quality, transaction structure, and investment-committee thinking in the secondary market.

Live mock interview

Practise a targeted mock interview, receive direct feedback, and leave with a clear preparation plan for your next round.

What happens in 60 minutes

A focused session with concrete next steps.

The preparation is structured around the role you are pursuing, rather than a generic interview script. The objective is to make the next stage of your process more targeted and more credible.

1:1 session feedback

What candidates say after a 1:1 session.

Feedback from candidates who completed our interview-preparation sessions.
“I was struggling to understand what interviewers were actually looking for in a fund-of-funds interview. The session helped me get much clearer on how to think about managers, investment strategy, and portfolio construction from an LP perspective. I also got very specific feedback on how I was answering questions, which was extremely helpful.”

Fund of Funds Candidate

“The biggest value was being able to practice the types of questions I was likely to face and get pushed beyond my initial answers. We worked through my investment experience, why I wanted to move into fund investing, and how I would evaluate a manager. I came away much more confident in explaining my thinking.”

Private Markets Candidate

“I had prepared quite a bit on my own, but I wasn’t sure whether I was preparing for the right things. The coaching helped me understand the differences between preparing for a traditional PE interview and a secondaries buyside interview. The feedback on my investment views and how I communicated them was particularly useful.”

Investment Professional

“The mock interview was probably the most useful part of the session. I was comfortable discussing my experience, but I wasn’t presenting my thoughts in a way that was particularly compelling from an LP perspective. We went through several questions and I received very direct feedback on how to structure my answers and demonstrate investment judgment.”

Fund of Funds Applicant

“I found the session especially useful because it was tailored to my actual background rather than being a generic interview prep call. We discussed my previous investing experience, my motivation for moving into FoF investing, and the questions I was most likely to encounter. I left with a much clearer story and a concrete preparation plan.”

Private Equity Professional

“Before the call, I knew the technical side of investing reasonably well but wasn’t confident talking through how I would assess a fund or manager in an interview setting. The session helped me think much more like an LP and gave me a better framework for discussing secondary transactions. It was one of the more useful preparation sessions I had during recruiting.”
